Jim Coughlin
Jim Coughlin brings nearly 30 years of senior housing industry experience to his role as co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Northbridge Companies. Prior to this, Jim served as a partner and senior executive at a prominent New England-based senior housing company, where he focused on financing and structuring new development projects and acquiring existing assets. Under his leadership, the company built an impressive 27-asset senior housing portfolio.
As CEO of Northbridge, Jim has facilitated the financing, development, acquisition, asset management, disposition, and recapitalization of assets amounting to over $1 Billion. His visionary leadership had earned Northbridge Companies prestigious accolades, securing a spot on INC Magazine’s Top 5000 fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years – 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Jim serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Beth Israel Lahey Health – Needham, serving on its real estate subcommittee and strategic planning subcommittee. Jim is active with the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association foundation and was former vice-chair of Caritas Communities, a local nonprofit that develops single room occupancy housing for Boston’s homeless population.
